Happy Friday!

School is going to start again in about three weeks (I'm a full time student), and so far I haven't enjoyed much of summer. It's been so hot here for weeks that no one could get much done outside. Now that it is finally cooler, I'm going to sit on my porch with the cool view in these pics, and do a little watercolor painting.

I took these pics last night as the sun was going down. This is the view from my front porch, and as you can see, my front yard looks out on pastures with horses, miniature horses and to the far right where the barn is, there's two cows and a bull over there. They're out of sight in these pics, but they are there. All in all, I think my neighbor has ten horses (give or take a few) and a donkey, plus the cattle. I'm growing carrots for them in my little garden and in a few weeks, I'll have some corn stalks for the cows. The dog is my shepherd, Bella. She has pollen scattered on her face and she's waiting for me to throw the ball for her.

It appears the puppies were all adopted today! I checked the humane society website this afternoon, and all three of them had been removed from the site. Apparently puppies around here are adopted usually within a day or two, and these were no exception. They are adorable, and I really hope they found loving, permanent homes! I shall miss them.

Building new shop

Hi folks,

Wow, it's been busy! We've been adding a new store at www.zazzle.com/DRCrafts and have over 2,000 products so far! Plus, we've been fostering puppies and kittens from our local animal shelter. I only had the puppies for two weeks and then they needed to be brought back to be prepared for adoption. They were boxer puppies and so cute! And what a handful! I'll try to put their pics in here.

The top left is Rufus, the only male. He is very shy, but loves to cuddle. Next to him with white on her face is Sadie. Her temperment was the most balanced of the three, but she sure liked to howl a lot! The one on the bottom is Isabel. She is the runt of the litter and the smallest, but the least afraid. Believe it or not, she was the most aggressive out of the three! I'll miss them all, but hopefully they will find good, loving permanent homes right away!
Take care,
Kelly

Welcome to the blog for DRCrafts & Graphics - gifts for people and pets!

Hi folks,

I'm new in here, so I'm still trying to figure out where everything is. There's three of us in DRCrafts, and each of us make handmade items. We've got lots posted up over at Etsy, including hand-crocheted shawls, dog sweaters, blankets, Barbie clothes, ponchos, appliques, birdhouses, hand-painted dog collars, etc. The url is http://www.drcrafts.etsy.com/.

Also, we have a ton of gift items for Dad for Father's Day, graduates, moms, babies, pets, you name it at www.cafepress.com/DRCrafts. Need greeting cards, framed prints, calendars? We have them! Want t-shirts, baby bodysuits, tank tops? We've got them! Go check out all our items and peruse through our stores. We'll be adding more stuff to both shops weekly, so stop by often!

Thanks,

Kelly
